Old World Wisconsin is Celebrating 50 Years of Historic Adventures! 1976-2026
They are open for the summer season, Wednesdays- Sundays (closed Mondays and Tuesdays). We invite you to visit Old World Wisconsin this season to see their new Welcome Center that houses the gift shop and other amenities.

In 1976, to celebrate America’s bicentennial, Old World Wisconsin opened to share the stories of Wisconsin’s early settlers. On July 3, 4 & 5 you are once again invited to join us at Old World Wisconsin to celebrate its 50th anniversary as we ring in the nation’s 250th and the grand opening of the brand-new Welcome Center.
Together, as part of America’s 250th Anniversary, current and former staff, volunteers and individuals who helped build Old World Wisconsin will gather to reflect on 50 years and celebrate this momentous occasion. Old World Foundation is proud to be the independent non-profit partner of Old World Wisconsin for over 42 years. Come join us!

50th Anniversary
In honor of Old World Wisconsin’s 50th anniversary, our 8th Annual Sunset Soiree fundraiser will focus on "celebrating the past, while creating the future at Old World Wisconsin."
