OWF News

Although we have had interesting weather this spring, summer has finally arrived!

With Our Thanks...

We want to thank our Friends and supporters for their continued support of Old World Wisconsin through Old World Foundation! The many projects and programs at Old World Wisconsin could not happen without your help.

We hope to see you at Old World Wisconsin this season!

How Do The Gardens Grow?

Historic Gardener, Marcia Carmichael and her dedicated group of volunteers are busy planting the many gardens at OWW. In addition to the annual task of planting the more than 24 heirloom gardens, the new Garden Shop has opened. Located near the entrance, this is a great place to find a treasure to take home with you.

Read about the many heirloom gardens at Old World Wisconsin in an article written by Marcia Carmichael that appeared in the Walworth County Sunday, a CSI Media publication.

Welcome Little Ones!

This spring and early summer saw the birth of many babies at Old World Wisconsin. In addition to the many lambs that were born this spring, eight Mulefoot piglets were born on May 21. Luke the Milking Shorthorn bull calf was born on May 27, and eight Ossabaw piglets were born on June 23. You can adopt one of the animal breeds to help care for these precious babies!
