It is finally spring! Soon the grass will be growing, the flowers will be blooming, and the baby animals will be born at Old World Wisconsin!

Old World Foundation would also like to thank Sew 'N Save in Racine for their donation of fabric to Old World Wisconsin and Frank's Piggly Wiggly of Elkhorn for their donation of Lefse to the OWW school field trip program.
Additionally, we would like to thank our Friends who donated funds to subsidize the annual Girl Scout Days at Old World Wisconsin in May.
Old World Wisconsin is getting ready for opening weekend. This year, guests will be encouraged to participate in even more hands-on activities on-site. The Sanford House and yard have been renovated and guests will be able to help set the table for dinner and play the pump organ. At the Koepsell Farm, children can try on clothing, play with the replica doll house and lay on a rope bed.
The NEW Creamery will be open soon in the village. This building will house modern restrooms for comfort of guests. It will also have exhibits that will highlight the dairy industry from a historical and STEM (science, technology, engineering and math) perspective. OWW will continue to partner with the Milwaukee School of Engineering (MSOE) to create these exhibits.
AND be sure to visit The New Garden Shop on your way out of OWW. The brick building at the entrance to the visitors' mall, called the Lueskow House, has been transformed into a garden shop with heirloom seeds, plants, garden tools and more! A perfect spot to pick up a treasure to take home!
We hope to see you at Old World Wisconsin this season!
