A Fun Summer Season is Ending at Old World Wisconsin!
Even though summer is over, many fun activities are planned at OWW through December. Halloween Legends and Lore, sponsored by Waterstone Bank and Old World Foundation will be held on Friday and Saturday evenings from Oct. 6 through Oct. 21.
If you have questions about how to donate to Old World Wisconsin through Old World Foundation, please join us for our FREE Planned Giving Webinar on October 25 from Noon-1:00. Attendees will be in "listen-only" mode, but able to type in questions to have them answered live. You must register in advance: REGISTER here.
Building Old World Wisconsin
If you have always wondered how Old World Wisconsin was created, please join us for our historic preservation fundraiser - a documentary premier: "Building Old World Wisconsin".
"Building Old World Wisconsin" is a documentary as heard and seen through Alan Pape, early construction supervisor to Old World Wisconsin in the 1970s. Hear stories of living on site, how the buildings were discovered, deconstructed, and re-constructed at their new site. Learn about the 'Art of Rubbernecking', plus hear interesting behind the scenes stories that most people don't know about the largest living history attraction in the Midwest, Old World Wisconsin.
Tickets: $50 each for the public, discounted for Friends Partners at the Homesteader Level and above.
All guests are invited to stay for the Old World Foundation Annual Meeting from 3:30-4:30. Hear about the impact our Friends have made at Old World Wisconsin with their support.
The Old World Foundation Annual Meeting will be held immediately after this fundraiser, and if you are a Friend Partner, you can attend our Annual Meeting even if you do not attend the documentary premier, but you must register in advance by calling our office at 262-594-2922.
In December, join your Friends at Old World Wisconsin for Home For The Holidays! Thanks to the support from our Friends, OWF is the presenting sponsor for this family event that highlights various holiday traditions the first three weekends in December.
